Manny, Jr.'s boyhood visit to the 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago, his involvement in the planning and construction of Marc Chagall's mosaic, The four seasons, at the First National Bank Plaza (now Chase Bank) in Chicago, and his role in the planning and construction of Alexander Calder's Flamingo sculpture for the Federal Center plaza in Chicago. In addition, the collection includes correspondence and misc. materials relating to Manny's 50-year friendship with Philip C. Johnson.
